It was in 1972 in Neckartenzlingen, Germany that Erich Maier founded Maier + Partner Kunststofftechnik GmbH (Maier + Partners Plastics Technology GmbH) with just two small Arburg injection moulding machines. By 1974, the company had moved to Bempflingen, where the now second-generation family business is managed by Werner Maier as Managing Partner and Neven Zelic as Managing Director of Technology and Sales.

1993 saw the founding of Maier & Cie Kunststofftechnik GmbH, a subsidiary branch, initially located in in Zwickau. In 1995, the cornerstone was laid for a new, modern premises in Crimmitschau.

Today, the Maier Plastics Technology Group operates on the national and international levels. Our dedicated team - who possess several years’ experience and expert know-how in mould proving and validation for life science, food packaging and consumer goods products - develop customer-oriented solutions and high-quality injection moulded plastic products.
